Health and Safety Commitment

Our promise to you

As we welcome audiences back to our live performances, the health and safety of our patrons, donors, artists and staff remains our highest priority.

Keeping You Safe

MASKS

Patrons and children over the age of 2 will be required to wear a face mask that fully covers the nose, mouth and chin at all times, including during the performance.  Masks may be removed only when actively consuming food or beverage items.  Patrons with medical exemptions to mask wearing must present valid documentation of the exemption, and the results of a negative PCR COVID-19 test dated within 48 hours of the performance start time.

Artists will be unmasked while performing, and will be separated from the audience by a distance greater than two metres.  Artists will wear microphones while performing to reduce the need for outward vocal projection.

CONTACT TRACING

Should contact tracing be necessary, the ticket purchaser will be considered the primary contact for all members in their party.

Keeping Each Other Safe

VACCINATION

All Theatre Gargantua staff and artists are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

SYMPTOM SCREENING + TESTING

Staff and artists participate in daily COVID-19 symptom screening, and rapid testing twice per week.

MASKS + PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Staff and artists are required to wear face masks that fully cover the nose, mouth and chin, and maintain two metres of physical distance at all times, when not performing.

CLEANING + SANITIZING STATIONS

Enhanced cleaning measures and hand sanitizing stations are in place throughout our offices and rehearsal space, as well as our performance venue.

If you have any questions or concerns about our health and safety protocols, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@theatregargantua.ca or 416-260-4660.
