Mainstage Cycles

Theatre Gargantua devises new work in two year cycles through a unique process consisting of developmental workshop phases and public performances. We begin with a socially relevant concept and work collaboratively with our artists to create a first installment of the work that is presented publicly at the halfway point of the cycle. Following a post mortem in which we consider all of the feedback from audiences and artists, we return to the development process to keep what worked well and improve what worked less well before the premiere of the work at the end of each cycle.

The collaborative nature of our process allows all members of the company to have a voice in the creation of our projects, ensuring that a diversity of voices are included in all of our work.
