TD EMERGING ARTISTS ROUNDTABLE
Theatre Gargantua’s TD Emerging Artists Roundtable is a forum for emerging artists and graduating post-secondary students to engage directly with professional theatre makers. Moderated by Gargantua’s Artistic Director Jacquie P.A. Thomas, these sessions empower participants to develop creative relationships that help bridge the gap between formal training and professional work. Each fall and winter, a group of 10-12 emerging artists will come together in a series of four 90-minute sessions, featuring compelling guest speakers. Participants will gain insights into the Canadian theatre industry, and how to carve out a place for their own work. The TD Roundtable is an opportunity for a diverse collection of artists to connect with each other — artists from all theatrical disciplines are welcome to apply.
Applications for our Fall 2024 session will begin this summer.
